Event Details

This 90-minute class will introduce you to the basics of 3D printing using free design software from Tinkercad.  Patrons will create their own keychain design to be printed in the filament color of their choice.

This class will cover the following topics:

  • Overview of 3D printing.
  • Setting up a Tinkercad account.
  • Navigating the design screen.
  • Moving and rotating elements.
  • Aligning and combining elements.
  • Importing and exporting designs.

Prerequisites: 

  • Patrons must know how to operate a keyboard.
  • Patrons must know how to operate a mouse or trackpad.
  • Patrons must have a valid email address and know their email password.
