Program Description

Event Details

Try your hand at processing images from NASA's telescopes! Learn how NASA scientists render images to bring out the most data captured by powerful telescopes such as the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). You’ll select NASA image files of Eta Carinae & Carina Nebula, and process them with MicroObservatory's Internet browser-based JS9‑4L tool. Create a beautiful work of art & science, and perhaps submit it to NASA for review (by Jul. 31). NASA just might highlight your entry!

This is an official "NASA Webb Space Telescope First Images Community Event."
