Are you interested in understanding more about climate change, human involvement, and solution-oriented sustainable actions? Join us to watch a few thought-provoking films about the interconnected relationship we have with our shared home, planet Earth. This short series will span the months of March and April leading up to the globally recognized Earth Day on April 22. We will stream the following titles:

  • Ice on Fire (2019) on Wed. Mar. 8 at 7pm. Ice on Fire explores the many ways we can reduce carbon inputs to the atmosphere and, more importantly, how to "draw" carbon down. Running time: 88 minutes
  • A Nomad River (2021) on Wed. Mar. 29 at 7pm. A Nomad River is a blend of fictional and non-fictional narrative that looks at the world through a civilizational lens. This is a personal struggle of four ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances, as they travel across India, an ancient civilization struggling with climate change, water crisis, poverty, and hygiene issues. Running time: 70 minutes
  • Sustenance (2020) on Tue. Apr. 18 at 7pm. Sustenance is a feature-length documentary about food's journey around the world, exploring controversies revolving around food and its interconnectedness with justice, climate change, and sustainability. Running time: 82 minutes
