Event Details
Fall marks a transition period in our gardens when most perennials, trees, and shrubs enter dormancy for the winter. There is often the urge to tidy up after the first frost by immediately cutting back and removing plant debris, but this can be counterproductive to both the aesthetic and ecological value of your garden.
Beth Peluse from The Conservation Foundation will share a more sustainable approach on how to put your garden to bed for the winter, including healthy fall maintenance, protecting overwintering insects, and caring for our local waterways, with some easy tips that you can do right at home.
