Event Details
Dedicate time to research your family history in a friendly, community setting. You'll navigate some of the most powerful genealogical databases in the world such as Ancestry Library Edition, Family Search, and other online resources, learn how to read census records, and develop search strategies specific to your family's past. You're welcome to share your story and, perhaps, some pro-tips to help others who might be encountering roadblocks.
Prerequisites:
- Patrons must know how to operate a keyboard.
- Patrons must know how to operate a mouse or trackpad.
- Patrons must have a valid email address and know their email password if they wish to set up a free account with Family Search.
Please note:
- Spaces are limited. Registration is required. Priority will be given to patrons with a valid FPLD library card.
- Ancestry Library Edition has been generously funded by the Frankfort Area Historical Society.
