This is a hands-on workshop for Android smartphone users only. 

During this workshop you will:  

  • Learn how to download WhatsApp.
  • Go through the basics including:
    • Notifications
    • Registering your phone number
    • Granting permissions
    • Exploring the Menu Bar
  • Practice sending messages and photos to your contacts.
  • Create a Group Chat.
  • Learn how to make Video and Voice Calls.

Prerequisites: 

  • To participate in this workshop, you must bring your own Android phone.
  • Participants will need to have a Google account (Gmail) & password for access to your Google account.
