Program Description

Event Details

Glass Etching is a 2-part class. In Session 1, you will create a simple design using Silhouette Studio software that will be used as a stencil for your glass etching. Additionally, you will learn about the cameo vinyl cutter and how to weed your design. During Session 2 of this program you will transfer your design to the glass, apply etching cream, and learn how to add color to your etched design.

Session 2 will be on Monday, February 13, 2023. You will be able to sign up for a 75-minute time slot between 12:30 and 7:00 PM after completing Session 1.

Please Note: This program is for Frankfort Public Library District cardholders only.

Due to the popularity of our technology and art programs, registration for this class is limited to once every other offering of the class to ensure that everyone gets a chance to participate. Please register for only one time slot. Thank you.

Cancellation Policy: If you are signed up for an event you cannot attend, please call the Adult Services Desk at 815-534-6173 at least 24 hours before the event. This will allow us to contact other interested patrons on the waitlist. Given the current popularity of our programs, patrons who do not cancel their registration more than 24 hours in advance will be considered No Shows. If a patron is considered a No Show for three events, they may be unable to register for future events, and will instead be placed on the waitlist.
