Use our Glowforge laser cutter for your personal projects and get assistance from staff. Restrictions apply.
Please describe your project, including what materials you wish to use, in the Special Notes section of the registration.
Please note:
- This program is limited to FPLD card holders aged 18 and older.
- Only Proofgrade brand wood or acrylic may be used in the FPLD Glowforge. No other brands or materials will be accepted.
- Material must lay flat and the dimensions may not be larger than 12 inches x 20 inches and 0.25 inches thick.
- Patrons may bring in their own Proofgrade brand materials or may use materials from the library’s supply for a fee. FPLD staff have final approval regarding materials used in the Glowforge.
- Patrons must read and agree to follow Terms of Service.
- Appointment time, including cutting and finishing, may not exceed 90 minutes.
- Laser cutters operate by burning through the material which will produce some odor. The odor on the finished product will fade over time.
