Event Details

Experience the Great North American Solar Eclipse! Join us in the Courtyard with your eclipse glasses for this special event. We will also live-stream the eclipse from the path of totality, take data recordings for the Globe Observer project, and have fun with science activities!

A total eclipse will appear in the sky on Monday, April 8, 2024. Although the Chicago area is not in the path of totality, between 12:51pm-3:22pm we will experience a near-complete solar eclipse.
