Discuss James McBride's The Heaven and Earth Grocery Story before our live virtual event with the author on February 4, 2025. Released in 2023, the novel tells the story of Black and Jewish residents of the Chicken Hill neighborhood of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, in the 1920s and '30s.
