Sustainable Landscaping Choices

One of our region’s oldest and largest private, non-profit land and watershed conservation organizations, The Conservation Foundation will present information about a variety of sustainable landscaping ideas, such as rain gardens, rain barrels, and pollinator gardens, which help create healthy environments. They will share information about Conservation@Home/Work, a landowner recognition program available for both residential and business properties that recognizes the presence of a wildlife habitat, reduction of fertilizers and pesticides, removal of invasive species, and water conservation measures.
