Event Details
This 90-minute class will introduce you to the basics of 3D printing using free design software from Tinkercad. Patrons will create their own keychain design to be printed in glow-in-the-dark filament.
This class will cover the following topics:
- Overview of 3D printing.
- Setting up a Tinkercad account.
- Navigating the design screen.
- Moving and rotating elements.
- Aligning and combining elements.
- Importing and exporting designs.
Prerequisites:
- Patrons must know how to operate a keyboard.
- Patrons must know how to operate a mouse or trackpad.
- Patrons must have a valid email address and know their email password.
