Tools for Evaluating Information Resources

This class allows participants to become acquainted with tools to help critically evaluate the vast and sometimes contradictory information they might encounter on the Internet, social media, and news media. We’ll cover Mike Caulfield’s SIFT method, and other information literacy standards-based exercises to help you distinguish what is reliable, fact, and opinion.
