Tools for Evaluating Information Resources

This class will give participants tools to evaluate the vast and sometimes contradictory information encountered on the Internet, social media, and news media. In today’s world, we also need to be mindful of deepfakes. We’ll use Mike Caulfield’s SIFT method and other information literacy standards-based exercises to help you distinguish what is reliable, fact, and opinion.
