Event Details

Learn the basics of knitting and create a sweet and useful cotton dishcloth. This class is designed for brand-new knitters or patrons looking to refresh their knitting skills. No experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.

This is a 2-part class. Filling out the registration form will enroll you in both Part 1 (February 7, 2024 at 6:30p) and Part 2 of the class (February 21, 2024 at 6:30p).

  • In Part 1 (February 7) we will learn the stitches needed to create the first half of the dishcloth: casting-on, the knit stitch, and the yarn-over stitch.
  • In Part 2 (February 21) we will learn the stitches needed to complete the dishcloth: knit 2 together and binding off.
