Join us to discuss Black Moses: A Saga of Ambition and the Fight for a Black State by Caleb Gayle.

Decades before the Great Migration of the 20th century, African Americans sought freedom and new opportunities in the West. Gayle explores the life and work of Edward Preston McCabe, who dreamed of and worked to establish a state settled and operated by a black majority in Oklahoma Territory.
