Join us to discuss Muppets in Moscow: The Unexpected Crazy True Story of Making Sesame Street in Russia by Natasha Lance Rogoff
Shortly after the fall of the Soviet Union, filmmaker and producer Rogoff was hired by Sesame Workshop and tasked with developing a Russian version of Sesame Street called Ulitsa Sezam. What followed was a years-long wild ride through the ups and downs of television production, compounded by the economic and political turmoil that engulfed the nation in the wake of communism’s collapse.
Copies of the book will be available at the Circulation Desk one month before the meeting date. Ebook and eAudiobook copies are available through Hoopla and Boundless with your Frankfort library card.
