Join us to discuss The Light Eaters: How the Unseen World of Plant Intelligence Offers New Understanding of Life on Earth by Zoe Schlanger

Schlanger, a writer for the Atlantic, takes readers on an tour of “plant intelligence.” While many tend to gloss over plants as simple or low forms of life, scientists are discovering that plants show remarkable abilities to communicate, defend themselves, recognize kin, and more. These findings raise new and intriguing questions about our definitions of intelligence, personality, and consciousness.

Copies of the book will be available at the Circulation Desk one month before the meeting date. Ebook and eAudiobook copies are available through Boundless with your Frankfort library card.
