Join us to discuss Challenger: A True Story of Heroism and Disaster at the Edge of Space by Adam Higginbotham

Just minutes after launch, an explosion tore apart the space shuttle Challenger, killing all 7 crew members including teacher Christa McAuliffe. Higgingbotham traces the origins of the 1986 disaster back to the days of the Apollo missions, exploring the courage and innovation that built the space program and the recklessness, negligence, and political pressures that ultimately led to catastrophe.
