Join us to discuss The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder by David Grann

In 1740, Her Majesty's Ship the Wager departed England on a secret mission only to vanish several weeks into the voyage. Two years later, a decrepit boat with a starving crew of survivors arrived in Brazil with a harrowing tale of shipwreck and a struggle to survive. The men were hailed as heroes until six months later when another starving collection of sailors from the Wager landed on the coast of Chile with their own story of survival…and accusations of mutiny.

Copies of the book will be available at the Circulation Desk one month before the meeting date. Ebook and eAudiobook copies are available through Libby and Boundless with your Frankfort library card.
