Join us to discuss The Demon of Unrest: A Saga of Hubris, Heartbreak and Heroism at the Dawn of the Civil War by Erik Larson.

Blending the voices and views of politicians, radicals, soldiers and ordinary citizens, Larson offers an exploration of the tumultuous five months following the election of Abraham Lincoln as tensions grew to a boil and culminated in the opening shots of the Civil War.
